Review:
Coen brothers are known as one of the best filmmakers of our time. Both complement each other perfectly. When I heard they were on maintenance in 1969 John Wayne classic True Grit, I am very excited and have very high expectations from the film. Being a huge fan of Western movies, I was really interested in how it will turn out. I wanted the movie to be more faithful to the original source material, Charles Portis novel than the 1969 movie. I also hope that Jeff Bridges would fill the big shoes classic, legendary John Wayne. I hope that they will blend humor 1969 original film with some trepidation or sensations of earlier Coen brothers films like No Country For Old Men or Fargo. But not too hard causing it to stick really recognizable classic Charles Portis novel. After seeing the Coen brothers new movie, I said. Exceeded my expectations are too high. movie actually surprised all the hype I was, what a wonderful movie. atmosphere, clothing, and building reminds me of the old classic Hollywood westerns they used to do. I have a feeling of nostalgia watching the movie until the end. I felt transported to another time period of the old west. Hailee Steinfeld was amazing in the film, I believe that this is his breakout performance. Matt Damon and Josh Brolin as usual amazing. But the real star of this movie should be Jeff Bridges, in all things (I do not mean to offend John Wayne or anything else), I think Jeff Bridges did a better job than John Wayne in Rooster Cogburn show. His appearance showed more experience, strength and ability, the performance is pretty much unforgettable. Jeff Bridges easily reinvents the iconic role of Rooster Cogburn in the Coen brothers behind - book remake. Coen I congratulate you for bringing back the western genre, that Hollywood overlooked a lot of the last decade. I can not stress enough how much I recommend this movie to people.
