I was lucky to get tickets to the media before the exams of the Berlin Film Festival this year.Being big fan of both before sunrise and before sunset, I was very excited to see this new (last?) Head Jesse and Celine relationship. To add a little to the story without breaking down too much, we find Jesse and Celine Nine years after the events of Sunset. Now they have a few pair of twins and Jesse tries to adapt to the role of a father separated from his son, Hank, to fly with him a few times back and forth between the U.S. and France, where he lives with Jesse Celine and daughters. On the last day of their holiday in Greece, Jesse and Celine are trying to find the spark in your relationship again - we are dealing with a couple, like many others in their middleage crisis began to wonder where I am in my life because I live in this way, and that my husband / wife still love me?. For me, the importance of the film is its strength, and, of course, acting and script that Hawke and Delpy new writing by Linklater. Hawke and Delpy are not only the characters and feel how deep their relationship is established - it feels very natural and saw a few in the 21st century. We live in a world where couples separate finding a new partner, children, divided again, find a new partner to get new kids again (maybe that's a little exaggerated, but something similar). Both spouses have jobs, and their relationships are affected when suddenly the only things that deal with what gets the food that children take advance etc. And love and romance from another slowly disappears. This is relevant to the times in which we live now, which is so strong in Midnight.I can recommend to fans of the first two films to see, and if you are not familiar with the movie is definitely a surprise! In my eyes, Midnight works great for the end of the trilogy, but the door is, of course, a little more open to another sequel nine years in the future (2022? ...) Again, the quality is excellent (the whole scene is a great hotel!) and the dialogue is so grounded, natural and strong and the film is important and can inspire many couples struggling with their relationship with p partner.10/10
